Corey's book repeated emphasizes that is wrong to do but when you are in love and expect to lose that person not paying more attention that is what you do.I know now what would be the best things to do for both myself and keep my integrity as a man and what would be best for my lady too. Corey suggests reading this book 10-15 times for comprehension. I am not sure I will make that many times but will read it at least 6-7 times since I have better retention than most people that read.Independent of age the advice is applicable and I intend to use as much of the guidance it provides that I can.I recommend this ebook to any guy that is new to dated or been married a long time because the information pertains to all men.3% is a reference to the percentage of men that really understand women. Corey is spot on with his guidance...

i bought this book with the hope of attracting an ex back. truth is she came back, but by then I was so jazzed about what id learned that I didn't want it anymore. I feel a new confidence and new found self worth through my interactions with women as a male. I never realized how much I coud improve as ive usually been successful before reading this. the big message I took away was once I had this knowledge my self worth increased and other areas of my life I wanted to venture into where I had previously fear, became more of an exciting challenge to meet. totally recommend to any male that's ready to get a new view on love, attraction, and masculinity

Ok so I have read this book once, i will read it 10-15 times total as recomended. So far between corey’s videos on youtube and this book my confidence and success asking women out and having fun have improved dramatically. Just a month after finding corey on youtube. I’m telling every man I know about this!!! A good warm up book for guys who think they are so called nice guys may also be helpful. No more mr. Nice guy but that book does almost nothing to explain in detail how to be the way you really need to be...10’stars.

McQueen was a genius of design — not just of fashion, but of spectacle, drama, and political theater. This book attempts to represent all of that. The text is brilliant, covering the details of each of the shows as they unfold. One feels as if one is there.The illustrations are, unfortunately, limited (by copyright? by license?) and don't fully represent the power of the text.Nevertheless, this is perhaps one of the best insights into the rise and decline and rise and rise, and so on, of one of the world's greatest designers.

LOVE this book. I’m a fan of AMQ and this book is reasonably priced for how heavy and large it is. It looks great on my coffee table and my guests always ask about it. It’s nice to know a little bit about the history of my favorite designer. The pictures are gorgeous and it goes into depth about all of his runway shows up until his posthumous show.Warning: my mailman stuffed my book in a small mailbox instead of leaving it where packages should be picked up and I was pretty angry about that (not the amazon seller’s fault of course,) but after opening the package the book wasn’t ruined in any way. So it is pretty sturdy! :p

Excellent and interesting book chronicling Lee Alexander McQueen from just before graduation through his death, following his dear mother. Each collection is detailed, but I do so wish there were more photos of each collection. McQueen was such an amazingly innovative designer. Sarah Burton who now designs for McQueen's label just does not compare really (none of her fashions are shown in this book - it is all McQueen and biographical).

Why settle for eye candy when you can dig in to a full banquet of rich and satisfying imagery and design? I love looking at this book and as an artist, I find McQueen's creativity compelling and inspiring. The photography offers a more candid view of fashion as it happens on and behind the runway, and I personally enjoy the movement and spontaneity in many of the images.

This book describes each show and the significant details about staging it. It takes us through all of his groundbreaking extravaganzas with wonderful photographs.The thing to do is read the descriptions and look at the photos while watching the shows on Youtube.

Great publication. Gorgeous photos, shows each collection of McQueen. A must have for the die hard collector - or anyone interested in the history of McQueen's fashion.

I am an avid backpacker, and I live not far from the PCT in Washington. Because I can't take time off from making a living to be a thru-hiker, I have been section hiking the Washington PCT for the past few years. When I can't be on the trail, I am an avid reader of "armchair adventures," especially books about the PCT. Over the years I've noticed a pattern in most PCT adventure books: the first 7/8 of the book describes travels through California, the next few chapters describe hiking through Oregon, and then there are a few token pages that basically say "and then it rained in Washington and then I reached Canada. The End" Keith Foskett's book gave more than a glancing blow to the beauty of the Washington PCT, which I greatly appreciated. I also appreciated the fact that he hiked his own hike, and even though he took an alternative route through parts of Oregon due to winter weather conditions, he felt--and I agree with him wholeheartedly--that he hiked the entire PCT. His trail companions came alive on the pages of this book, and his account was both humorous and introspective--without becoming a pity party. I thoroughly enjoyed it from start to finish.

I found the author highly unlikable. Straight from the beginning he seems very egotistical. For example telling everyone he started with the PCT because he didn't want to be like everyone else and he doesn't conform to trends. Really?Just didn't enjoy it as much as i hoped because of his attitude.

Having read MANY books at the A.T. in my preparation for my hike inn 2016. I found his P.C.T. journal account funny and enlightening,It was not full of crazy stories (well, there are some) but the A.T. is like hiking the I-95 freeway (full of people) vs. the PCT, much more of a country road....at 12,000 ft. Some may criticize this book as being too descriptive and "flowery" but those who have awoken to a new day, filled with crimson, blues and orange and red skies... will be happy his accounts.I have read some reviews that felt he spent too much time drinking pale-ale in any town he could find. I find that absurd. Of course when you re-supply, you're going to down some pale ales. But most of his book, I felt, concentrated on the trail, and trail life.He ends his hike in an unusual fashion. Without going into detail, I felt he and his two cronies , were the "East Yorkshire Regiment" avoiding the Germans and the towns people were (underground) were sheltering and feeding them, and then on to their next objective - - 300 miles. You'd have to read the book to make sense of this rambling.In any event, walking from Mexico boarder to Canada is no SAMLL FEAT. Less than % 15 ever make it. It's difficult to make this kind of journey 'interesting' for the reader. After all, hiking that long is nothing but slogging one day after another. Repetition. He's writing style makes it 3-dimensional, with lot's of good stories; his observations on American food, people and geography etc, set it apart.To accomplish this monumental journey, one needs;1.) The heart and spirit of John Muir,2.) The tenacity and perseverance of Margaret Thatcher,3.) And the crazy and wildl sense of adventurer and humor of Steve Martin. I have had a longtime interest in long distance hiking trails, and was looking forward to reading this book, The Last Englishman, from the moment I heard it was an account of a hiker doing the Pacific Crest Trail (PCT). While I found the book to be entertaining to read, the focus of the book seemed to be rather on the interesting characters on the trail (admittedly part of the PCT experience)and the towns and stopovers hikers can use to escape the trail, instead of the trail itself.Keith Foskett describes himself as someone who likes long hikes, yet I did not glean any appreciation for the fantastic and varied wilderness landscape through which the PCT passes in the book. Rather, it felt like the author's descriptions jumped from one small resupply town/depot to the next, with little time or appreciation for the trail itself, and the only focus was on surviving to the end.Though I enjoyed his writing style and humor, as an avid outdoorsman, I would not recommend this book to my hiking-interested friends.

After finishing Fozzie's first book (The Journey In Between, about thru-hiking El Camino de Santiago), I rolled straight into this one. It's really cool to go on another armchair adventure with the same hiker. I'm extremely grateful that he documented his multiple thru-hikes so I can live vicariously through them.Between these two books, the Camino seemed more charming, and the Pacific Crest Trail more rugged. The last leg of the journey was particularly page-turning, as winter set in and the trail was buried under snow. I thoroughly enjoyed the adventure, and there were some great characters along the way. (Pockets!!)Now I'm on to Fozzie's third installment, Balancing On Blue, where he tackles the Appalachian Trail.

Joel Stein grew up in Edison, N.J., and went to Stanford. From 1997-2017 he was a staff writer for Time magazine, writing a regular humor column and more than a dozen cover stories; he was also the back page columnist for Entertainment Weekly and the opinion section of The Los Angeles Times. He has contributed to Bloomberg Businessweek, GQ, Esquire, the New Yorker, Food & Wine, Travel + Leisure, The New York Times Book Review, Elle, and Men's Health.Stein was a Ferris Professor of Journalism at Princeton and has appeared as a talking head on television shows such as Real Time with Bill Maher, Late Night with Conan O'Brien, and VH1's I Love The '80s. He's interviewed celebrities for HBO, Cinemax, and Comedy Central. In addition to writing on staff for two television shows, he created an animated show for VH1 (Hey Joel) and wrote six network pilots.
