This book is truly life-changing. I’m very interested in quantum physics and have read a lot about it. I also have read a lot of different books on manifesting. It ties together the spiritual and the scientific and says what I have believed ever since I became interested in quantum physics: the Observer is God Himself. There is no disconnect between the Bible and science- each reinforces the other. We are all connected by consciousness. There is scientific evidence to support all of what this book contains. The more scientists learn, the more they can see that the mystical and the spiritual that we have always known to be true, are not the imaginings of crazy people. It is all true. Reality is not what we have thought it to be, but spiritual teachers, shamans, and others have known the truth from ancient times. Whether or not we live in a virtual reality, as the author says is likely, doesn’t really matter. Reality acts like a simulation, and that is the point. In changing our beliefs, we can change our realities and our lives; through our beliefs we can heal relationships, finances, careers, our minds, our bodies. We are limited only by our beliefs...we can become limitless.

I read this before my spine fusion surgery. What a help, I am off the pain medications early and better than expected by those around me. This book has kept me focused and on track. It's important to note that you do NOT have to be in the midst of a lawsuit to benefit from the content- the ideas can be used by a borrower to be educated on the law and practical matters to consider when applying for a loan modification, for example; or when negotiating a short sale or a foreclosure remediation matter. Also, I like the way the author has organized the book. Each 'strategy' is essentially a legal theory you can use, with arguments and analysis to back it up, and written in a way that is easy to understand. Overall, this is a good and handy manual for borrowers coming up against the big guys. Well done.

I wish I would have read this book before my foreclosure. I, as many during the financial meltdown, was intentionally cheated by a mortgage banker. I was not able to educate myself on foreclosure, and predatory lending laws, until I was already removed from my home of 20 years. My biggest mistake was not being educated in the foreclosure process. Had I had this book, and an attorney, I believe I would have been successful in not only an intentional misrepresentation claim, but also claims of mortgage fraud and predatory lending. The banks attorney's did not sign their original complaint or their summary judgement motion. Because of bad advice I did not appeal, and that cost me dearly in the long run. It turns out that had I appealed on the issue of an unsigned defective motion, I could have ended up with a free home. That is a simple technicality that I discovered on my own, but without an attorney the judge simply ignored my answers and found for the bank. My example is why every homeowner needs to be educated in the law and the process. More importantly, discuss your case with a competent foreclosure or consumer rights attorney as soon as possible. This book was a very simple read and easy to understand. It only took me a few hours to read. I am from WI as is the author, but I think that no matter were your from this book will give you a good primmer on foreclosure law and the legal process. For the Wisconsin readers I have an update for this book. In December of 2015 the Wisconsin legislature signed a new law called 2015 Wisconsin ACT 120. Basically they sold out the people of Wisconsin and created what I consider an unconstitutional law. Make sure you get any promises in writing of they are worthless in Wisconsin. If you are not from WI and were cheated by an oral agreement brush up on promissory estoppel to enforce your oral agreement. If your reading this review its probably because some bank has screwed you. The sooner you get help the better. Statutes of limitations are the banks best friend.

This is a wonderful story about an interesting man and scientist. As some of the negative reviews mentioned it is heavy on his faith but for us that was a huge plus not a negative. Many books cover his accomplishments but few cover who he was as a man.

This is a good read. Recommended reading for pre-physics

BEWARE this is far from a scholarly biography.This is far from what I had expected. I expected a biography of a brilliantman but got an unapologetic evangelical polemic aimed at an elementary school student level. Monsieur Pascal would be rolling in dismay in his grave. It plays (to say the least) VERY fast and loose with the facts, at least as far as I can ascertain them from other sources. Pascal's famous "bet" does not fit well with this born again account of evangelical revelation and certainty. The truth of a terrifying Church/Inquisition demanding supremacy over all including reason peeks through the cracks in the lines here but historical truth is a largely a "left behind" casualty.

I never knew as much about Blaise Pascal until I had read this book. What I'm really interested in is getting to know all of those lovely sources that McPherson used for her research material.Before I had read this book, I didn't know much about Pascal's scientific experiments or his contributions to French society. This book has also cleared up a lot of the background concerning Pascal's writings. It is well written and highly entertaining.

Here is the biography of a life well worth studying. Pascal was one of those rare people who, like da Vinci, was a genius in several areas--in science, mathematics, and theology. He also helped develop the world's first public transit system! As homeschoolers, we also enjoyed the depiction of his early education, as he and his siblings were taught by their brilliant, loving father. Throughout, the book reveals Pascal as a thoroughly decent and honest man. I highly recommend this book for about sixth grade up through adults.

I should have read the other reviews more closely. This book is written for a target audience of 5th and 6th graders. I was expecting a factual biography but this is actually a children's book written to entertain. I believe it probably does entertain to the targeted audience but I would not recommend this book to someone researching this theologian's life.
